Text: Isaiah 6: 8-9
• One of the greatest problems of God with His people is getting their attention.
• Once God can get your attention, you can’t escape a divine encounter.
• The more He’s able to get your attention, the more divine encounters you will have.
• There are incredible heights of blessing and ways unimaginable He wants to use us.
But getting our attention stands between us and all that.
+ It took a burning bush to get Moses’ attention.
Exodus 3: 3-4
+ It took putting Jonah in the belly of a fish for 3 days to really get his attention. Jonah 1-3
• The Lord befriends us with His love. John 15:15
Ponder anew what the Almighty can do
Who with His love befriends us The Lord loves us, but getting our attention is a chore.
• There is a barrier that stands in the way. Isaiah 6: 1-9
Sin has always been and will always be a barrier.
Isaiah 59: 1-4
+ Even in death, Jesus tried to get Lazarus’ attention. John 11:25
Because there is life after death.
• It doesn’t add up that you’re befriended by God, and yet you’re in debt or single year after year.
What to expect when the Lord gets your attention:
1. He will begin to nudge your hands to do what is uncommon.
The Lord wants to take you to uncommon heights. 1 Kings 3: 4-13
2. It will not be uncommon for God to come to you in your dreams to give you solutions to problems that concern your place of work, city, or nation.
When this happens, it is to catapult you into prominence.
Prayer Points
1. Father, from now on, I will put myself in the state where You can get my attention whenever You want.
2. Father, I hereby remove every obstacle that can get in the way.
